Mixing wood finishes

I have a traditional style den and the wood finish that I have on all my furniture pieces is medium oak. I have found an entertainment center that I love and it fits perfectly where I need it. The problem is that it is in a darker finish than my other pieces. Would it look alright?

The piece should do fine. Rooms where everything matches tend to be boring.
