could someone tell me the best way to get a stain out of some sheets?
i'm not sure what kind of stain it is. i think it's food, but i don't
know.

Not a lot to go on is there.
I would soak the sheet in a washing powder solution overnight and then
rub the stain if it's still there with a product like vanish then wash
and hope for the best.

I just bleached my sheets and that's got rid of a lot of stains that normal
fabrics and treatments didn't shift. I put in washing soda as well.

The sheets are coloured, but I only put in 1/2 cup, so they were fine.

Pretreat stains with heavy duty liquid laundry detergent and let set. Wash in hot water, detergent, and all fabric bleach.
