White nylon lace panties getting greyer! Hints please

I've been looking through this group for hints, but have found none :-(

I have several pairs of lace panties made from nylon, and they are gradually
going a very pale grey. I only wash them with other while things, on a 40º
wash, using biological washing powder.

This powder keeps my cottons white, but not the nylon!

I can't boil wash the nylon the max is 40º. Short of trying nylon curtain
whitener 8-/ has anyone got any hints or tips.

Hello "Nell". A good soak in a product called Whizz, (it is basically sodium
percarbonate) does wonders for whitening nylon panties and any bra that's a
bit iffy. You can purchase it at your local 'What' shop or any of the £1
shops sell a similar product and you get a fairly big tub for £1. It is the
same oxygen bleach as Oxyclean but much cheaper.
What brand of washing powder are you using? Despite all one reads about all
brands being much the same I still have my favourites and think them far
superior to others.
Have we met before dear? perhaps in some other group? I seem to recognise
the giggle!

"Whizz" has a completely different meaning in the States and soaking your
underwear in "whizz" would only add to the stain.

Oh my goodness me! A certain person has seen to enlighten me with an online
picture depicting whizz as my American friends know it. Thank goodness the
OP is a poster from the UK and can see the product over here in the shops
and thereby verify that it is a genuine cleaning product.

I'm sorry to say Vox and your informant are members of a very
vulgar minority. To most Americans, a whizz is a person of
remarkable skill. (I know, it takes one to know one!) If,
for example, you were to google "soccer whizz", you would
doubtless be led to thousands of pages about Edson Arantes
"Pelé" Nascimento.

I hope you haven't followed me here from the repair group in which I was
kindly assisting for a few days. I recall answering one of your posts and
here you are with the same tacky information that was posted to my inbox
*except* I was mislead into believing I was viewing a sporting jpg. of a
certain upstanding member of the group who shall remain nameless but is
conspicuous in his absence. I really don't think it's the sort of thing that
should be welcome in this group, we are, after all, a successful cleaning
group not an outlet for the seedier side of the net.
If Mr Beane, you intend staying here in AHC then you would do well to try to
fit in and provide some cleaning tips along with any general, cleaning -
related chit -chat.
