Hi.
I have a typical bay window, open to the floor, with some "creative
drywalling" done to the top (it isn't shelved off, it angles in nicely
to meet the rest of the wall up to our 12' + ceiling). The bay is
relatively small. It has 3 facets, the short end-facets being 2' wide
each, the wide middle part being 4' 8" wide, with the entire bay being
2' deep and 7' 4" wide.
What I would like is to hang grommet-topped curtains here (similar to
http://www.ikea.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?topcategoryId=15594&catalogId=10103&storeId=3&productId=10848&langId=-15&parentCats=15594*15828*15845
, sorry for the long link) and *ideally* not be constrained about how
far I can slide the curtains this way and that. In other words,
inconvenient placement of rod brackets (for the lack of a better word,
I'm a novice at this) would interrupt the flow of where I can slide the
curtains. Again, ideally, it would be nice to have a sufficiently
sturdy system with perhaps a bracket at each extreme end, and perhaps a
3rd in the middle.
Here's my problem. All my googling is returning track systems (or oddly
flat "rods"). I would like a pole in order for the grommet tops to
work/look nice.
I live in eastern Canada and can't seem to find any Canadian *OR*
American places that can help me with a solution.
Does anybody know where I can turn next?
Thanks in advance
