Pledge furniture polish

while dusting a piece of furniture for a garage sale the Pledge spray
got on many areas of a wood floor. Now its as slick as a cat's a__. What
to do so no one slips and falls? Thnx ahead of time.

salt the floor.

salt? how does one do that......so far have used the vinegar and water
wood floor cleaner by Grab It....it did not help much. I am loath to use
anything on this wood floor for fear of ruining the finish.

It stops you slipping . Mind you it'll probably scratch the floor. Still
better to stay upright and have a scratched floor than be on your backside
from a polish slick, especially at my age.
