Scorpion Control

We have a new home that is near some thick woods. We live in a large subdivision where a lot of construction is still going on. We started the summer seeing a few scorpions outside and then a few inside. Now, we are seeing them inside almost nightly. We have had pest control come out 2 twice in two weeks to spray and put down traps and it doesn't seem to help. Also, they seem to be confined to one side of the house and it is the furthest from any door or garage entry into the house.

How else can we control this? Can the builder help look for cracks? Why just one side of the house? We need this fixed before our new baby is born and left in the crib on that side of the house.

We live in Arkansas and we only have one kind of Scorpion, the Striped Bark species. Not deadly but painful.
