I own a 1966 Ariens 7hp 36" wide snowblower that my father puirchased new in 1966. It has run like a top up until a couple of years ago. I was clearing my driveway the last snow storm we had the end of last winter. Just as I was finishing I went to put the brake on and it wouldn't brake!!! I couldn't stop it!!! I had to shut it down to get it to stop. The gear shifter is all locked up; the brake-clutch lever is locked up and the wheels are locked up!!!! It runs like in first gear; but that's it!!! I have no control over it. Right now everything is still locked up. This very same thing happened about two years ago. I parked it in my pole barn over the summer and was going to take it to the repair shop in the fall. All the sudden it fixed itself???? Does anyone know what might be wrong with it???? And do you think this is a minor or major repair job???? If it's a major repair job, I might be getting a new machine some day. Thank You Very Much TSnow
