I have a question . I have mold around my tub and I would rather not replaces the whole wall, against the outside of the tub, and its a piece about 2 ft by 1 ft. any help is appreciated

What usually works for me is taking some mildly acidic substance (such as white wine vinegar or lemon juice) and scrubbing REALLY hard on the mould, usually lifts it right off. ANother good thing to do is use some petrol ("gasoline" to Yanks) on it, or turpentine.

Putting a Dehumidifyer in your house will cut down on a lot of mold. Turn one on right after a shower or during the night to keep moisture down.
