I know in some places if you have a pool your insurance premiums go up.

Either way, if you get a pool, be prepared for the work that comes attached to it. We have a huge pool, and it takes quite alot of time, especially during the summer when we use it. The equiptment keeps breaking, and the repair-people never seem to be able to fix it forever.

Yes I have heard that too, I wonder if it is true in my area since my neighbors are installing a pool right now.
