kind of a funny story. My Son and his friend were swinging from the rope tied to a tree, into the pool. they do it all the time, no big deal.

John must've landed on the side of the pool pretty hard, because the whole side collapsed, and the wall just OPENED. It would be hysterical, if I didn't have to pay about 1000 bucks for a new liner and repairs.

does anybody know how much a liner would cost for a 24 foot round, above ground pool?

That is where i would have gone. I dont have a pool, and i have never had a problem like this, but i think this site might help.

yeah, my neighbor builds inground pools. its definitely a worthy investment. but your talking the difference between a 5 grand above ground pool, and a 15-20 grand inground pool.

but I think I'm going to end up having him build me one. he made everypool on the block, and I think he did them for half price. thats really cool

Sweet, I was thinking about getting one of those large aboveground ones because of the much less money they cost, but they look so much more garish, Whatever

I like the in ground ones, While they cost quite a bit more, they also add a lot of value to your house if you have the right size yard.

A freind of mine's house was sort of on a hill so that the front of the house was level with the ground while the back deck was 6 feet or so off the ground. She endeded up building an above ground pool that was in the center of the deck. It looked pretty cool while still being cheap.
