Kitchen cabinets

I am going to Home Depot tonight to talk to someone about kitchen cabinets. The brands I'm considering are Mills Pride, Kraftmaid, Thomasville, and American Woodwork. Can someone tell me what things I should consider when comparing these. Cost I know is a big factor, as well as the material the cabinets are made out of. Anythng else?

Also, has anyone had any bad or good experiences with Home Depot or any of these companies?

I have Mills Pride, They are very sturdy and look great. Home depot has never caused any problems for me. lowes is good too.
