I think its vinyl. it has a real slick plasticaly coating.
I scored it with the tool
I sprayed the goop on it.
I waited 15 to 20 minutes.
I tried to take it off.
No joy

It's like the plastic like coating is preventing the goop from penetrating.
If I get a piece of that off, then the brownish backing soaks goop and comes
off.

What am I doing wrong?
How can I take this paper off without damaging the walls.

Please help.
and of course, thanks in advance

Do you think that using heat would help? I heard of special hand held hair
dryer type gadgets for rent to remove certain types of wallpaper. You could
call a wallpaper store for advice. The heat would soften the glue and should
make it easier to peel off. Let me know how you make out. Sandy

My old boyfriend was/still is a paper hanger on high end designer homes.
This is what you do:

Get a garden sprayer, one of those 2 gallon things, fill it with the HOTTEST
water you can, add your paper remover solution into the water. Make it a
little stronger than what the directions call for. Spray the walls
heavely. The use of a broad blade putty knife really helps pulling the paper
down without damage.
Yes, you will have to remove the old paste that remains on the wall, and
that is best done by spraying the wall again with your remover solution (Hot
again) and using a wide blade putty knife scrape/scoop the stuff off the
walls. Comes off like butter......
Most people make the mistake of using cool to tepid water and thats why they
dont get the results they want.
