I have a nasty FART SMELL odor in my living room that wont go away. My Uncle
Bernie was visiting a month ago and had a bad case of GAS. He had let out a
few really smelly ones while sitting in there watching TV. Now Uncle Bernie
is gone, but the fart smell is still there.... please help. Doris

Take all of the chairs Uncle sat in outside and leave them there in the sun
for 4 days. If it starts to rain, bring 'em in real quick. Also don't let
any animals near them while they are outside or your problem could get worse
and Uncles residual smell would seem fragrant by comparison. :-)

Doris, if it's been a month since your uncle has been gone, then i'd suspect
the odor to be coming from you ( i know it must be embarrassing to admit
something that you've done personally, most people would blame it on the
dog, but i guess you don't have one so you are trying to pin it on ol' uncle
bernie).

here is what i would recommend...

1. open all windows and ventilate as much as possible
2. from now on, go outside when you need to relieve yourself, in fact, go a
few blocks away ( preferrably to a park where the doggies go ).
3. it just might be possible the odor is continuing if you haven't bathed
in a while ( be sure to use soap this time ).
4. if all else fails, simply sit there and light a match, your worries will
soon be over.

you forgot:
5. get in touch with that cream cake afficionado who pops up periodically, &
find an outlet for your expression. post the results for my amusement.
