How do you clean the exterior of a wood burning stove and with what cleaning
products? The exterior has a noticeable rust buildup but it's not thick. I
know I can paint it with woodstove paint but I need to get it clean first.

To clean before you paint the woodstove, use a steelwool soap pad and dry
with a towel. for more cleaning tips and tricks www.countryclean.ca under

Ok, thanks for the advice. I was going to try the soap pad but wanted to
make sure it would be ok to do so. I will break out the soap pads tomorrow!
