While you were discussing your dirty-shoe fetish with other roués who
frequent this forum, Marcey posted excellent advice about soil mold.
She spoke charitably of you.
If anyone doubts that Marcey is worth every dollar of her compensation
package, imagine how flagrantly "certain contributors" would violate the
rules if not for her diligence.

Hydrogen Peroxide will bleach natural dies like you might find in a good
oriental rug. Hydrogen peroxide will bleach hair and was used when I was in
school (years ago) as a cheap way to highlight your hair. The kind from the
drugstore is pretty weak compared to the hair bleach that is available and
often left people with brassy, orange hair.

A friend of mine tried using peroxide on her hair. Needless to say,
it turned Ronald McDonald orange-y and her hair was so damaged she had
to grow it out and cut it all off.
Expensive lesson.
