Hydrogen peroxide for wounds is three percent. Hydrogen peroxide made
for bleaching hair is 15 or 20 percent.

One reason medicine-cabinet peroxide is only 3% is that increasing
concentrations are increasingly hazardous to the eyes.
In America, the developers for hair dyes range from 3 to 18% hydrogen
peroxide. The most popular formulations have 6% peroxide. You mix the
developer with the dye, so I suppose the result is about 3% peroxide.
I'm not familiar with the volume system of stating concentrations, but
6% is equivalent to 20 volume.

My OTC bottle of hydrogen peroxide for disinfecting purposes and
mouthwash is 30 volumes (9% w/v)
Hair lightening spray for ' those summer highlights' is 6%

OxiClean. You can find it at Costco, Target, probably the grocery store
