I use Clorox Cleanup and just a regular rag and it just doesn't cut it. Soap
scum and other tub related residues as well as a slight haze are still
present after I clean it and I am guessing the I should be using something
other than the rag. What can I use that will actually scrub the tub and
still be safe for the finish? Also, should I try another cleaner? Thanks in
advance.

I use a daily shower spray and this seems to really help keep the
shower/tub and curtain clean. Every two weeks I spray using a
bath/tile spray product, allow it to work for 8 hours, then scrub with
a nylon brush. If you have not done this in awhile, you may need to
clean it twice or use something stronger such as CLR. I put the vinyl
shower curtain in the washing machine with shop rags and car towels
with a cup of TSP once a month (do not attempt to put vinyl in the
dryer!)
