Scented clorox and wading pools.....

I came across this on the clorox site.

"To treat, mix required amount of Ultra Clorox® Bleach with 2 gallons of
water and scatter over surface of empty pool. Fill remainder of pool with
water. Empty small pools daily. The scented versions of ultra Ultra Clorox®
Bleach and Ultra Clorox® Advantage™ Bleach cannot be used for disinfecting
swimming/wading pools.


I am wondering why the scented clorox bleach can not be used for
disinfecting wading pools. Anyone know why?

It does not contin chlorine per their ad. It is the chlorine that kills the
bacteria in the pools.
