Vacuum packed - vacuum cleaner design

James Dyson's Dual Cyclone vacuum cleaners
have effectively rendered conventional machines
obsolete. Their internal engineering.....

bollocks

a conventional vacuum has about twice the suction when the bag is new, and
only about 10% less when full. don't be fooled.

also, why when I walk into a store do I see bags and belts for every
machine, but spares for dysons cover half of one wall - coz they break.

lets compare to a kirby, which has about 5 times the suction when empty, and
about twice the suction when full. bagless cleaners are crap, you have to
vacuum round about the bin after you empty them, but if you put a new bag
in, that's emptied and filter changed in one go. and no mess.

and the filters for a dyson cost m ore than some bags.

rant over.

When you start to talk the outrageous price that people pay for a Kirby, you
may as well get a whole house, central vacuum.

I find my Dyson has far more suction than any other machine I have
owned. I'm very pleased with it.

They all break or get worn out at some time don't they?
Maybe because Dysons are so popular in the UK more spares have to be
available.

I find it easy to empty the bag with no mess whatsoever.

Mine are the lifelong filters :)
