Too many bright colors a bad thing?

My house is full of bright reds, yellows, and greens. Is this a bad idea, or a good one? Me and my family argue about it all the time.

Your colors actually can compliment each other. If you have a print with both yellow and red in it or a rug or a valance, it will tie the colors in nicely. Another trick is to strategically put colors in other rooms to help it all flow together. For example you might have a yellow room and a red one. Putting a red painting in the yellow room where you can see it from the red room ties it all in nicely.

I always thought that if you like it who cares what others think. If you like those colors then i say paint away. You dont have to please others, so paint whatever you enjoy.

I am all for bright colors. I found this amazingorange color and have been using it a lot lately. Like the above post said: If you like it there's no reason to change it.
