I currently have my desk, computer and shelves on one side of my bedroom. My bed, wardrobe, and drawers are on the other.
The current colors are as follows...
- End walls and bedside wall are covered in a bubble effect embossed paper and painted with a strong, but light colored blue emusion paint. the 4th wall is just backing paper, which I stripped old childrens paper from it as I have long grown out of it (a few years ago not months)
- The desk and shef unit next to it is black ash, which I like the style of (even though it may not be in fashion).
- Wardrobe and drawers are white melamine, with round, like a doughnut but not rounded and beveled inward brass effect handles.
- Carpet is a mottled grey/black.
- polystyrene ceiling tiles, painted cream.
I have never got round to re-designing the room.
The furniture, carpets and built in wardrobe/ drawers have to stay.
anyone give me any ideas of what I could do, and any suggestions of colors to go for (not pastels or pale colors and not too strong or dark), that can help me to be productive, and also help me get a good nights sleep?
I would like to have a very modern hi-tech look, but not use chrome or metallic stuff.
