I need ideas on finishing my basement.

Now, I am trying to convince my dad to finish the basement. My basement has like nothing done. I was just wondering how much would it cost for somebody to finish it for me? Give me an estimate....

I can tell you that if you or your dad is able to it yourself, you are going to save A LOT of money. We did ours and it ended up saving a crap load of money.

As said before, doing it yourself is always the cheaper way, but of course it takes a good amount of time. If doing it yourself is not possible, you should go online or look in your phone book and get some quotes from a few different contracters.
