Thanks This may sound silly, but I have seen where the plumber hooked up the hot water line to the toilet, and that will definitely cause the bowl to sweat! Op |

Hook up your hot water to your toilet. This happened in a new home that I was workin' in back in the 80s. I don't recall the time of year, but the toilet sweat profusely with hot water in it. Op --I'm an electrician, so I only hooked-up the 220v wires to the toilet, and not the hot water line.-- |

Drip, drip! Wouldn't sweat but it might 'steam' each time it was flushed! |

The physics are just not there. Try filling two like pans, load one with water and ice and the other with hot water. Wait ten minutes, Which one is sweating? A glass of ice water/tea sweats, a cup of hot chocolate/coffee doesn't. jim |

I saw something at Home Depot the other day that you can put in your tank
and it is supposed to make it not sweat. I don't have any ideal if it works but you can call them to see what it is. Good luck "jim evans" <jimsnews@houston.rr.com> wrote in message news:4tvtfvciot56n9hvdvq9bcohf9t7nho7v8@4ax.com... > On Sun, 29 Jun 2003 00:03:59 GMT, "Ken Aman" <kaman@hvc.rr.com> wrote: > > >My downstairs toilet is soaking the floor around it.
