Default Saving Electricity in Your Bedroom

Turn on electric blankets an hour before you go to bed and turn them off when you get in.
Adjust the thermostat on your electric heater to the minimum comfortable setting. Learn to just take the chill off rather than heat the room. Wear warmer clothing inside so you don't have to leave heaters running for long period.
If you have ducted air conditioning, turn it off in the bedrooms for the long periods during the day when you're not in the room.
Keep heaters clean by removing dust and fluff from the fan and reflective surfaces.
If you have a water bed, adjust the electric heater thermostat up or down to suit the season and always keep the bed well covered

Turn off your TV completely, not just so its on stand by, because this wastes alot of elec. and your money! This will save your $100's if not $1000's of dollars each yr.
