kind of a funny story. My Son and his friend were swinging from the rope tied to a tree, into the pool. they do it all the time, no big deal.
John must've landed on the side of the pool pretty hard, because the whole side collapsed, and the wall just OPENED. It would be hysterical, if I didn't have to pay about 1000 bucks for a new liner and repairs. does anybody know how much a liner would cost for a 24 foot round, above ground pool? |

yeah, my neighbor builds inground pools. its definitely a worthy investment. but your talking the difference between a 5 grand above ground pool, and a 15-20 grand inground pool.
but I think I'm going to end up having him build me one. he made everypool on the block, and I think he did them for half price. thats really cool |

Sweet, I was thinking about getting one of those large aboveground ones because of the much less money they cost, but they look so much more garish, Whatever

I like the in ground ones, While they cost quite a bit more, they also add a lot of value to your house if you have the right size yard.

A freind of mine's house was sort of on a hill so that the front of the house was level with the ground while the back deck was 6 feet or so off the ground. She endeded up building an above ground pool that was in the center of the deck. It looked pretty cool while still being cheap.

Aboveground pools are an eyesore IMO, but I suppose they are probably tons cheaper. Of course, as we can see, they do seem to have some flaws...

Well, I talked to this guy who I played softball with a few years back, told me he'll build me an in ground pool for 14,300 bucks. its alot, a huge investment. But I think its the perfect thing for my home. John and his friends will love it, the other kids on the block will have a place to play.
Vacuuming its gunna be a pain, how much are those auto vacuums that just cruise around underwater and eventually get everything |

That really sucks. I would hate to have that happen. I personally have an above ground pool but I wish I saved up and purchased an inground pool. You can have them alot deeper and they look alot better.
