I particularly fancy yellow. I don't know why, but it seems the most homely of kitchen settings.
Any other colors besides white you guys have in your kitchens? |

I agree with you on yellow. In fact, I have a home decorating book that states that yellow in a kitchen is the most pleasing color to prospective buyers and can even be the thing that secures the sale. I don't know how true that is, but yellow in a kitchen makes it seem warm and inviting. I like just about any bright, spring color in a kitchen....even a pretty, bright spring green looks good, especially if it's balanced with white trim (great contrast) and splashes of blue in some of your decorations. :)

Beware though, yellow often is hard to paint over in the event you want to change.

I think yellow is more of a bathroom colour, I prefer shades of Tan, or White.

Yea, i'd have to agree. I really dont like that faded yellow color anyways but in a kitchen i think it would look pretty ugly. |

My kitchen is a light tint of blue. I think overall it looks pretty good. We have blue checkered tiles and a blue countertop. You do get sick of it after awile but it looks really good i think.
