Default Removing smoke smell from piano

I just bought a used piano and it stinks from what smells like years of
cigarette smoke. I spent an hour cleaning the exterior of the cabinet with
water and vinegar but it still smells really bad. Will the smell eventually
dissipate or is there anything else I can try?

It will diminish but it will never go away.

You may try putting some charcoal inside and / or a small wide glass half
filled with white vinegar.

Before giving up hope, you could try calling a wood restoration
business, or a smoke damage specialist to see if they have any
suggestions.
