Hi Debbie,

You really need a specialist leather and conditioner to do the best job.
Leather has a habiot of drying out and losing it's oils when cleaned and the
conditioner puts it back.

To clean it generally you could just use mild soapy water but it's a risk.

Take a look at www.DrClean.co.uk/Retail_DrClean/LeatherPC.asp which has a
combination set and you can see what type of cleaner I mean.

One word of advice on cleaning any leather is to test an unseen area before
starting to check for colour run and surface stability.

Hope this helps

I use old-fashioned "saddle soap". It helps to condition and moisturize
the leather as it cleans.

Saddlesoap should work ok... Our sofa came with a cleaning kit, consisting
of a cleaner and leather conditioner. If the saddle soap does not work, you
might try a retailer of leather sofas to see what they have available for
cleaning.. My next one will be Naugahide... wears like iron and easy to
clean!!!

Debbie,

MARC has a product called Citra Clean and Shine that is excellent on
leather, vinyl, wood and many other surfaces. I sell it like hot cakes to
hotels because it takes the place of several different cleaning products.

It cleans and supplies the needed oils that is required for vinyl and
leather needs to be supple and clean.

Ed
MARC's home office number is: 1.800.228.8508

Ask for the rep. nearest to you and ask him or her where there is a store
that sells CITRA CLEAN AND SHINE (product number 144).
